PTO
Our mission as the PTO is to institute and sustain a close relationship between parents/guardians, teachers, and learners by evolving opportunities within home, school, and community. Our goals this year are to welcome all of our new and old families in hopes of an easy transition to Roundtown, continue to promote communication between families and staff, and to foster and enhance educational environment.
We hope that we have an abundance of Roundtown parent/guardian involvement in our many PTO activities than ever before! We have volunteer opportunities for those parents available during the school day, in the evenings, at home and whenever your schedule allows! If you want to get involved, we have a need for you!
The PTO supports several activities, events and projects for the students, parents and school. It provides funds for the third grade picnic, Field Day, various field trips, playground supplies, Roundtown PROUD t-shirts for Kindergarten and new students, Yearbooks for all students and more.
The PTO also supports Roundtown students through class parties like Fall Festival and Friendship Day, the All-Pro Dads Breakfast, Art Gallery, Book Exchange, Book Fair, community service projects, the outdoor classroom, skating parties, sunshine activities and more.
They work to support the school directly with bus tags, Communities that Care, Home Room Parents, Inter-District PTO representation, and staff appreciation initiatives. They even offer babysitting at select school events and assist with the school directory!
