Great apps for learning coding:
Kodable (beginner)
– Give directions to move the fuzz ball through the maze. Be sure to
collect all the coins for maximum stars as you beat each level.
Light-Bot (medium)
– Move your robot through the maze to light the blue squares. Don't
worry! If you make a mistake you can always go back and debug your
program to try again!
Cargo-Bot (medium)
– Be the robot and move the crates from one stack to match the picture.
Didn't work the first time? Debug and try again! This app was created
on the iPad for the iPad!
Daisy the Dinosaur (beginner/medium)
– Drag and drop directions to make Daisy the Dinosaur dance and move
across the screen. Make your own animations or try the challenges in the
app.
Hopscotch (medium/challenging)
– Learn to code using simple building blocks to create animations. This
app works similar to MIT's Scratch program and can be used to make
simple to complex designs.
